Cosy nights in, eating hearty meals in front of the television. That’s what many of us are looking forward to this winter and where better to do it than inside an R9 orangery?

An extension is a great way to add a social and bright living space to your home that similarly provides a warm and comforting ambience at night-time. The R9 orangery does it like nothing else around.

People are fast beginning to realise this with several installations of the product commissioned during the past few weeks ahead of our coldest season, including one via Countywide Homecare in Worksop.

It was a hugely exciting assignment for Countywide Homecare as it was the first time they had utilised Residence 9 for an orangery design. They weren’t going into the project completely blind though as they have previously worked with the timber-like material for other home improvement solutions and stated that they “love it more & more every time we use it.”

A fully flush hand-made system to replicate a traditional timber frame, the orangery was completed with Residence 9 in our classic Grained White, giving the structure a fresh and stylish look.

It has also been equipped with a Pilkington Activ™ Blue roof which contains self-cleaning properties and offers excellent light transmittance, low light reflection and high energy absorption. In other words, there’s no chance of the orangery ever becoming too cold or overly warm once summer comes back around.
