A Year In The Life Of Residence 9

2016 has been an unforgettable year for Residence 9, so we thought would take a look back on some of our biggest highlights over the past 12 months.

1. New-Build Homes Get The R9 Look

Whilst Residence 9 is designed to replicate the 19th Century Flush Sash Timber Window, it is just as well suited to new-build properties as it is to period homes.

February saw DWL Windows of Sittingbourne complete a couple of impressive R9 installations at two brand new residences in finishes of Grained White and Irish Oak.

The windows brilliantly complement both houses.

2. New ‘Residence Collection’ Launched

In April, we made our latest appearance at the Fabricator Installer Trade show and it was our best show yet!

Held at The International Centre in Telford, we used it as an opportunity to launch our brand new Residence Collection, comprised of Residence 9 and the newly produced Residence 7, Residence 8 and Residence². It caused quite a stir and attracted a whole host of leads and enquiries from key industry figures.

We also launched a brand new website to accompany the new range.

3. Our Doors Are Always Open

Due to the expansion of our product range a few months earlier, we decided to update our Gloucestershire showroom.

Visitors can now view the entire Residence Collection all within one gloriously stylish setting and footfall has reflected how much people love it.

4. The Residence Collection Receives Major Industry Award

The year finished on a massive high for the team after the Residence Collection was announced as the winner of “Best Timber Alternative Company” in the National Fenestration Awards 2016.

It wasn’t the only award acknowledgement we were to receive as we were also nominated for ‘Best Product Launch’ and ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ at the Construction Marketing Awards in November.
