Finding a suitable replacement window for homes situated within a conservation area that satisfied planning regulations used to be extremely difficult. Then along came Residence 9.

There are a total of 13 conservation areas in the Maldon district, a town on the Blackwater estuary in Essex.
When a homeowner in one of these districts decided enough was enough and that the timing was right to replace their old windows, they required a contemporary window that would preserve and enhance the aesthetics and character of their residence – Residence 9 perfectly met this requirement.
They approached their local R9 installation company, Silika of Rayleigh in Essex, who took responsibility for fitting these spectacularly period-like windows. A grained white finish with Georgian bar was chosen.
An already glamorous home now looks even more captivating.
