The Residence Collection, has been named as a finalist in three categories of the most recognised window industry awards, the G Awards.
Founded almost two decades ago, The G Awards has been recognising individuals and businesses in the glass and glazing industry for their outstanding work since 2004.
The Residence Collection has been shortlisted for three awards: Best Business Initiative of the Year; Commercial Project of the Year and Promotional Campaign of the Year.
The first saw The Residence Collection demonstrate their outstanding business growth through enterprise and initiative while supporting installers and fabricators with a lead generation system that provides feedback across the complete supply chain from fabricator to homeowner.
The Commercial Project of the Year is a testament to The Residence Collection and its partnership with long standing fabricator, HWL Windows and an independent house builder’s partnership on a bespoke development within the Conservation Area of Wooley in April. Named Old Beech Farm, the project of six unique homes saw the installation of 200 Residence Collection windows from its timber-alternative R9 range and were Part L compliant with 1.2W/m2k u-value. The Residence Collection is a specialist in period properties located in Conservation Areas with planning authorities approving their windows for use throughout the UK.
The latter recognises the organisation’s promotional campaign, My Windows & Me, an overarching, year-long campaign focusing on homeowners window and door needs, and highlighting the industry’s key trends. The umbrella campaign has included a series of quarterly campaign activities including ‘How to Dress Your Windows’ focusing on key interior trends for 2023 and ‘The Ultimate Guide to Taking Care of Your Windows’ surrounding the spring cleaning windows. The ‘Boosting Your Home Value’ campaign details what homebuyers would pay more for when buying a new home.
Jo Trotman, Marketing Manager at The Residence Collection commented: “We’re really proud to see The Residence Collection named as finalists in three outstanding categories in the G Awards this year.
“We’ve worked hard this year to develop The Residence Collection brand for consumers, installers and fabricators alike to position ourselves as the go-to for premium window and doors, particularly for listed buildings and properties within Conservation Areas.
“There are lots of fantastic finalists in all categories of the awards this year and we look forward to the ceremony in November to celebrate with everyone!”
