What the event is all about
If the name doesn’t give it away, we certainly can. Celebrating its 15-year anniversary this year, The National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon is designed to provide advice and inspiration for all self builders and renovators, from bricks and interior, to windows and doors. After a successful event in January and May, with over 2,500 visitors across both events, the next instalment is taking place on Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th September from 9am – 5pm where over 200 exhibitors will be in attendance. The event is the prime opportunity for home builders and owners to gather information and advice from industry experts, before making those daunting decisions on what product is best for their home.

Not just here for design, but functionality too
While the event gives you the perfect opportunity to see The Residence Collection products on display, windows and doors aren’t all about design. Luckily, we’ll have our expert team on hand to offer you advice about all things windows and doors. From building regulations to sustainability, we know it all. It couldn’t be more timely too – thanks to the rise in the cost of living, an efficient window couldn’t be more desirable. One topical conversation in the window industry this year is the change to the building regulations in June, which outlined new rules for U-Values, which must be at 1.4 or less.
We can go into more detail in person, but essentially, a higher U-Value means that more heat will be transferred through the window, and therefore lost from the home. A waste of heat, and a waste of money. The lower the number, the better, and we know this. We’re proud to boast a U-Value of 1.2 and less, achieving a U-Value as low as 0.7 with triple glazing.
